Water Flow Switch & Meter Honeywell Wika Anergy
APPLICATION
The paddle type SPDT WFS series are designed to provide excellent
performance where accuracy, reliability, and rugged construction are
required used in liquid flow lines carrying water or any fluid neither
harmful to brass and prosphor bronze nor classified as a hazardous
fluids.
They can be wired to close one circuit and open a second circuit when
liquid flow either exceeds or drops below the adjusted flow rate.
The WFS series are recommended for liquid pressure and temperature
as mentioned below and must not be used on lines carrying liquids below
0 oC.
These series may be used on liquids with high salt or chlorine content
but is not for use in hazardous atmospheres.
They may be also used outdoors but must be protected from weather or
splashing water.
All series WFS flow switches are designed for use only as operating
controls.
Where an operating control failure would result in personal injury and/or
loss of property, it is the responsibility of user to add safety devices that
protect against, or supervisory systems that warn of control failure.

Meter Functions:
- Batcher and Totaliser: Relay gets energized after a fixed quantity of water passes through the sensor. The batcher has an auto reset, manual reset and dual relay operation facility. Batch quantity counts downwards till zero value.
- Flow Comparator: The meter is supplied with two sensors for RO permeate and inlet/ reject line. The meter displays both the flow rates and also calculates percentage recovery.
- The setting is done on Percentage Recovery If plant recovery is increased by the client to get more permeate, plant will trip thereby safeguarding expensive membranes.
- Rate Switch Mode: The relay is programmed to energize whenever actual Flow falls below the set value. Display shows Low Flow Rate
- Pulser: Meter can be configured to suit any metering/dosing pump Chemical dosing can be done online proportional to flow.
- Opetional Data Logger: The flow meter is available with data logger option where flow rate & total flow with date & time is stored in a 2GB Memory card

WFD Series water flow detectors are compatible with schedule 10 through 40 steel pipe, sizes 2 through 8 inch, and can be mounted in a vertical or horizontal position. WFD Series detectors consist of a rugged, NEMA 4-rated enclosure. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, WFD Series detectors operate across a wide temperature range, from 32 to 120 °F.UL-listed models are equipped with tamper-resistant cover screws to prevent unauthorized entry. Inside, two sets of SPDT (Form C) synchronized switches are enclosed in a durable terminal block to assure reliable performance. The WFD Series detectors incorporate a mechanical retard feature, which minimizes the risk of false alarm due to pressure surges or air trapped in the sprinkler system. In addition, the mechanical retard’s unique sealed design is immune to dust and other contaminants. The WFD Series is designed to simplify installation.
